Forza 4 free play vs Forza 7 free play?
Finally got myself an xbox one s, to play newer forza's on.
When I played Forza 4 I mainly just selected a random car and track and raced.
Can you do that on Forza 7? Try to select a car and you don't get a big selection, meant to be over 700 cars etc yet, half the manufacturers didn't come up, clicked one manufacturer and only 1 car came up, i changed the restriction option to Any, and it was still the same.
Why can't I just pick any car and race like any normal racing game.

Events and regular races are based around cars you "own" using your winnings to buy better or class-specific cars for new races, and to tune the cars you have, not all that different from FM4 on the 360.
You can always select "Free Play" then "Rent Car" and you'll be able to race using any car in the game that's available.
