It can be caused by an unpleasant event, loss of a job, a severe illness, death of a loved one, and it can me managed, many times, by anti depressants.
One important part of the cure is the individuals' desire to come out of it, another is time,(people get over many things) exercise helps,
spending the day playing video games does not
