Wellbutrin XL 300 mg AND OVEREATING QUESTION??

Okay so last December of 2017 I was put on a 150 mg of Wellbutrin XL due to my anxiety which would lead to overeating and then I would extremely depressed afterwards. 10 months later my overeating started occurring again. I will be able to bounce back but then it started happening again every single day. I just recently got my dose up to 300 mg. However I am still overeating. How long is it going to take for the medication to start working?

Medication alone likely won't resolve the problem.

You have to address the underlying issue - what is it about food which gives you comfort when you are anxious, and what can you do which would actually give you real comfort rather than unnecessary calories which end up compounding the problem.

Medication is only half the solution - go see a good counselor for talk therapy.
