Tender gland behind nipple in boys during puberty?

So my nephew mentioned behind his nipples are sensitive and Tender, I remember when I went through puberty and behind my nipples hurt as well but I remember my glands being big and hard and I ended up with slight gynomastia (male boobies) so does this mean he will end up with boobs? Mine aren't nothing like you see in a lot of men (I'm 27 years old) mine are noticeable but not big I couldn't even fit the smaller bra available not that I've tried lmao. So is this tenderness normal or a sign of gynomastia?

    I've had this and I went to the doctor.he said it happens during puberty and it will go away with time

    Quite common in early puberty.

    Gynecomastia is pretty obvious if he has it.

    I think this is not unusual but may mean the nipples become sensitive for ever. This is a good thing.
