    Domestic shorthair

    Color is brown tabby.

If the stripes are in a circle on the side its a classic tabby. If they are vertical stripes on the sides, its a mackerel tabby.

What a cute little guy! Yes, he's a domestic short hair, the cat that Nature created. Not a breed, and often called a moggie. Can't really tell his coat pattern and color from the picture but he appears to be a mackerel tabby? Get him in to the vet for an exam, worming, and started on vaccines. He/she will grow up to be a lovely cat.

Unlike dogs, most cats dont have a breed. Its just a domestic cat.

It's no breed or mix. It's a "domestic" like over 97% of cats.

Sorry, but that's about as generic as cats come. Just a normal mongrel tabby. A vet would write in "domestic shorthair" for paperwork purposes, but that's not actually a "breed." Tabbies are what you get when cats are not bred, but allowed to reproduce naturally.
