My tenant lease is up and he is refusing to move out citing COVID. My state has eviction moratorium in place but I believe its only on the issue on no rent payment.... Does eviction moratorium apply on all reasons or just non-payment?

I have a 8 line family plan, a family member is getting his own plan and porting out his number.

The sale rep told me that porting out his number also canceling line.

I want to keep the line for someone else.

Sale rep told me that we could activate a new number for a fee for this line right now... but I am concern that doing so would lose the number that is about to be ported out before the porting out occur.

Sale rep told me that even though the ported out number is out there, noone would be able to pick it up..... from my experience, I don't really trust sale rep, they say anything to make a sale.

could someone confirm this?

I just received a brand new washer from the store. Usually, the delivery guys would install it and test run it to make sure its working before leaving. However, not this time since I was having my floor redone so they set the washer aside without installing.

Today, I tried to move the washer to install it myself. I heard there was water moving inside.

Did I receive a refurbished item? if so, I wonder how many times they have successfully gotten away with it since installing and test running are part of the routine delivery service.

I am planning to replace my carpet. I am planning to go either the independent stores (Not big box store like HD or Lowes) OR independent installers, they will pretty much provide the full package; measure, deliver new carpet, and haul away the old ones.

I am not so sure about the independent installers....... are they just show up and install? am I suppose to pick up the new carpet and dump the old one? How do independent installers work?

I keep getting this pre-recorded message from Allison from the warranty deparment everyday 5 times a day. It does not matter if I block the number since caller id always shows up different number with local area code.

I have this cat for about 1 year now, and I recently adopted a dog. I have been successfully redirect my dog attention from my cat while on a leash. The problem is that even my dog is not chasing or playing with my cat. My cat will hiss when the dog gets close, then he will return with a bark and it escalate from there.

I just bought a house, stains are all over the carpet. I tried to google and of course it gave me a stain list and their correspondence cleaner.

I am at the final stage of closing on a house. Lender sent me the "closing disclosure" yesterday and i noticed some number for closing costs are incorrect. I addressed this to my loan processor (broker), she advised those numbers would be fixed on HUD-1 and asked me to sign that disclosure, so we could proceed to the next stage which is the "3 days clear to close" stage.

Who responsible for HUD1 and if some closing costs are incorrect, who do i contact and how long will it take to have it fixed?

I want to take some times off work, like 3 months vacation - no pay. Is this even possible?

I am in the middle of buying a house. Date of Ratification is on 10/24 and is subject to financing. I was going to use realtor recommended mortgage broker. I notified the broker on 10/24 regarding the ratified contract requesting Rate and GFE. They got back to me on 10/28 with a loan application with above market rate with 0 point (i have 760+ credit score) and outrageous closing cost. The purchase contract has this statement 5 Financing: "Purchaser shall make written application for such loan within seven days after the date of Ratification". Does this clause mean? is it too late to shop around? Were they postponing rate and closing cost until 10/28 so I couldnt shop around? Is sending in loan document satisfied this contingency clause? do I have to SIGN that mortgage broker loan application by today to satisfy this clause? Mortgage broker is now rushing me to sign the mortgage loan disclosures
