what happen to the real grown men?

That man still exists in some parts of the world. I try to be that man, and I know many others. but it is clear to see that some men have been corrupted by the terrible world now, that they only care for themselves. and it's happened so much that that "man" has become the norm.

Turns out women are grown ups and well and can afford to pay for their half of the date. Most people are capable of descending a staircase without assistance. There's no reason a guy should pay for his wife's mani-pedi (as this isn't a necessity and if she wants it she should pay for it herself). The man who contributes only $50/$60 to the grocery bill certainly isn't paying even half of what a typical family has to spend on food.

I think the short answer here is that you're remembering a distant past that just isn't practical for most people anymore. The average low-cost meal plan for a family of four in the US is $731 a month. More and more people are spending above the recommended 1/3 of their income on housing. Few households can survive without both partners working for pay. The halcyon days of the woman as some pampered accessory that doesn't have to pull her own weight with a salary are simply over.

There are a few out there - but they are really hard to find anymore. Once parents begin treating their sons like MALES and teachers STOP focusing on girls only - then they will reappear.

They're all with women who don't suck

What happened to them? They realized that those qualities did not work with women anymore. Men are fairly pragmatic creatures with pretty simple needs. They will do whatever works to get to their goal. There was a time in history where a man had to hold down a decent job, be a good citizen, court and propose to a woman in order to have sex with her. So men rose to the challenge. I honestly do think it was a better time. But those qualities simply do not work these days when it comes to most women. Instead, women seem to be drawn to thugs, douchebags, criminals, low lives and man children with no future. The qualities of the past that worked in order to get women are now being dubbed as "beta" or "nice guy" qualities. Those are the men who are overlooked, used, cheated on, etc. No guy wants to end up that way. The reason you see the types of behaviour you see in men these days is because THAT IS WHAT WORKS ON WOMEN. If you ever want to know what works on women - look at what men are doing. It's really as simple as that. If being a gentleman, wanting commitment and marriage, taking care of a woman and cherishing her worked - men would be doing it. This may not apply to you personally, but it applies to MOST women. Ladies, you have no one to blame but yourselves. If you want better - expect better from the men you date.

They got tired of all you entitled self centered gold diggers and wised up and now you have to be a grown up woman and take some responsibility for yourself like a real adult instead of expecting a free hand for once in your life
