Why would a loving God want people to be poor? Why couldn't God just have everyone be rich on Earth?

True wealth isn't money (those suddenly rich learn this soon)....

“Come, all you who are thirsty,

come to the waters;

and you who have no money,

come, buy and eat!

Come, buy wine and milk

without money and without cost.

Why spend money on what is not bread,

and your labor on what does not satisfy?"

When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?”

The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?”

Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”

“Sir,” the woman said, “you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water? Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his livestock?”

Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

Jesus said in John 10:34 we are all Gods . We are creating our own environments in order to motivate ourselves to become perfect like God .

In the U.S., most that are poor, are that way because they s@ck with money. A miraculous padding of bank accounts would do little to change that.

GOD does not WANT people to be poor, HE gave us laws statutes and commandment so that we would know how to treat each other and if everyone followed HIS laws statutes and commandments there would be no poor people

He could. He's provided plenty of everything we need.

But a lot of people have a tendency to waste it, and some of them have a tendency to deal with their own wastefulness by hogging lots more than they need. That's what we tend to call being "rich."

So it's rich people who prevent everyone being rich.

And so it shall be. But this evil age has to play out and draw to its conclusion.

Maybe to make it easier for them to go to heaven.

Mt 19:23 And Jesus said to His disciples, “Truly I say to you, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

Stop asking these questions! Religious nuts always think they have the answer

God doesn't want people to be poor Jeremiah tells us very plainly I know the plans that I have for you says God plans to give you hope and a future and not to harm you plans to prosper you! the problem is is people just will not obey the instruction book and they're poor because they won't obey the instructions.

He doesn't. But at the same time, rich people tend to believe in their riches. If we believe in God, what he did for us, we'd know real riches are in heaven where they do not rot.
