So would you be an extra 9 months old since you spent 9 months in the womb?

Just curious. I’ve always wondered this! Since you did spend 9 months in the womb wouldn’t you be an extra 9 months old? Because you are alive in the womb.... so a 1 day old is actually 9 months and 1 day old or 8 months of you were born early, so on and so fourth.

No. The term BIRTHday has a meaning. Think about it.

Seriously??? A female NEVER knows the EXACT date she got pregnant. Plus, a person is NOT considered a human being until he or she takes their first breath of air.

Children are born at different gestations, so age is counted from the known date - birth. One of our daughters was born at 33 weeks gestation, for instance, and was almost two months old before her due date arrived.

No, because few babies spend exactly 9 months in the womb, and few women know exactly what day they conceived.
