How to get over a guy who lost interest in you?
So I was seeing a guy for about a month. We had such a genuine connection and things were going so well. We were texting everyday in 20-30 min intervals and on our dates we were kissing, hugging, holding hands, etc. I have never felt such a deep bond with a guy. However, on the fourth date the chemistry was off. I was not really myself on that day, very tired, less energy, due to a variety of reasons and asked some prying questions (asked if he has ever been in a relationship before) as I figured we were moving in the direction of being boyfriend and girlfriend and I also divulged information about the guy I previously dated (his lack of emotional availability). I think I turned him off by coming across too strong but I really did not intend to.
The date went okay but after I did not hear from him at all which was odd as we were previously texting on a day to day basis; I decided to text him and he texted me back saying "The semester I have coming up is going to be really busy so I dont think its going to work out between us." It has been a few weeks since this has happened and I am still not over it. Me and this guy had so much in common and he was everything i was looking for in a guy- looks and personality wise. He was so kind and genuine and I feel like if I had just let things take their course then we would be together. I can not help but blame myself for this. How do I move past this?
