Brand new HP battery problems?
I got a brand new battery about 2 months ago, now this battery is detected as low battery storage capacity and to replace, i did the test and it says its reporting a failure, but it s a new battery. Anyway to fix this? Why does this happen, it happened to my old battery but it was a couple years old, is my computer causing it? Help help

Happened to my HP laptop too when I got it. HP replaced my battery free of charge. I don't know if yours is still covered by warranty or not. I would definitely start by contacting HP though
Also, I think it is a defect or something in some of their prodects because mine started to do it again a few years later.
It you take it to a computer repair place they can usually replace the battery for for about $20. That is what I had to do the second time

Most likely premature failure, the battery will have a warranty, RMA it for a replacement
