A. Many report erroneously to remove the answer, they disagree with.
B. Some target certain answerers to annoy them. To get them to exit this site.
C. Some may have multiple accounts. Ask from one. Answer from another. Award themselves the "best answer". They call it "instructing on how to answer correctly". Rules call it gaming! Thus those answers can be removed!
D. Some are indulging whilst at work, so if the boss was to accidentally "see" their identities, they would be in deep trouble, as one said on this site.
Anonymous or not, their network can however view those "answers".

In my case, I had a stalker a few years ago who harassed me constantly. Every question I answered, the stalker would pop up and spew insults and obscenities. I finally went anonymous to shake them.

For one reason or another they choose to hide their YA identity. Some do it so they can't be blocked. Some do it to avoid stalkers and harassers. Some just like to be incognito.

Some Anonymous users do it because they want to Cyber Bully people and they dont want others to know it was them

So you can't block them or look at their YA activity profile. It makes them harder to stalk, but not impossjble. Also they may ask legitimate but embarrassing questions.
I don't use the anonymous feature. My writing style screams who I am no matter what user name I may be using. Yes, you can change your writing style, but changing it permanently isn't easy.
