What would be the correct volume formula for this?

    Is that a cylinder? or a truncated cone?

    The volume formula for a cylinder would be pi*r^2*h.

    The volume formula for a truncated cone would be

    (pi*h/3)(R^2 + Rr + r^2),

    where r and R are the radii of the two different base circles.
