Can colleges see how often you went to extracurriculars?

So let’s say I do an extracurricular and I go when I feel like it which is about half the time and I probably have 5 clubs like this but I don’t do every single meeting, can I still put that on my resume and can they find out I only went sometimes or should I put anything I went to?

    No

Then again, they don't really care that much about such things and are rarely impressed unless your'e an officer.

No. A university admissions staff member can only see what is on your application and transcript. Some applications do ask how many hours are involved in each activity. It is fine to list any club or extracurricular activity that you truly were involved with.

What admissions staff CAN do is simple math. They know that no student can be putting in very much time on ANY one activity if the student claims to be involved in five of them. They also know that a student can dedicate 5 hours a week to 5 different clubs. When it comes to helping your college admission chances, universities are looking for passion and dedication rather than a hodge-podge is stuff that you kinda-sorta did sometimes.
