I had laser tattoo removal on most of my forearm 4 days ago and my arm has been very swollen since. Should a doctor be consulted?

Laser tattoo removal is literally using lasers to blow up the ink particles into something small enough for the body to get rid of.

Its literally making the ink in your tattoo explode.

    This will cause some swelling.

After a week, go to your doctor, but until then its pretty normal.

I would consult a doctor. It may be infected or your skin just isnt taking it very well. If it persists take an anti-inflammatory until you can get to a doctor.

I'd call the laser removal place first. Ask them for advice and what to expect in the future.
