Anonymously posted questions?

If it is a troll dumping a nonsense question on us I can understand the reason to make it anonymous.

But often, even basic questions without any apparent embarrassment factor get posted anonymously.

Does anyone else find this strange?

Yeah I notice too. Maybe they just don't want people to know them as the user is asking the question and going through whatever at the time. Also maybe they don't want the attention as people see your pic and a lot look at your name.

No. It's an available feature and many take advantage of it. Some just because it's there. Some because they're being harassed or stalked by others, so they post Anon most, if not all, of the time. Some do it to reduce chances of being harassed stalked.

Ultimately it really shouldn't matter. A post is a violation or it's not, regardless of who posted it or if they're posting as Anon or not. Violations should be reported. Non-violations shouldn't be reported. I've never understood why anyone cares who uses Anon or not.

No, it is NOT strange. It stops people from looking at their YA activity profiles. It cuts down on stalking. People are stalked on YA for YEARS.
