The Messianic prophecies indicated where and when Jesus would appear. Jesus was born in Bethlehem as foretold. (Mic. 5:2) In the first century, the Jews’ expectations ran high. Anticipating Messiah’s appearance, some asked about John the Baptizer: “May he perhaps be the Christ?” But John answered: “One stronger than I am is coming.” (Luke 3:15, 16) By coming to John in the fall of 29 C.E. to be baptized at 30 years of age, Jesus presented himself as the Messiah right on time. (Dan. 9:25)

Jesus is not the Messiah. The Hebrews are God's chosen people. Jesus did not fulfill even one Messianic prophecy of The Hebrew Bible-The Tanakh. Is there Peace in the world? Has the Temple been rebuilt? Are all of mankind worshipping the one true God-El Shaddai-YHVH? Only The Hebrew Bible is correct. It is available in Hebrew/English Version. Easy to read and understand. Written plain and simple. No need for interpretations. The New Testament is a Roman Empire Koine Greek text.

Simple question. Because Jesus' first purpose was to help the Jews. Jesus IS Jewish... which contradicts his omniscience because he changed his mind later on and decided to gather up people to believe in his non Jewish doctrines.

Jesus was a Jew, and Jews back then were waiting for their messiah. So if the Jews were the chosen people, he fit right in.
