Your flesh body is what your soul resides in while you are
in the flesh. When you die your soul will be in your Spirit body.
There is a natural body, the flesh body you are in now
and there is a spiritual body, the body you will be in when your flesh body dies.
In the spiritual body there is no disease. It is a body different from the flesh body.
When you die, you return to God. Then you wait for the Great Judgment where all will be Judged
for what they have done.
1 Corinthians 15
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
2 Corinthians 5:8 “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”
Ecclesiastes 12:7 "Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.”

Your body goes into the ground to rot, your spirit leaves your body and returns to God who gave it (Ecclesiastes 12:7.)
It is appointed unto man once to die and after this comes the judgement so when your spirit is with God, He will judge you and either send you to heaven for eternity with Him if you have received Jesus Christ the Saviour as your Lord and King and worshipped and obeyed Him in life, or else your destiny will be Hell if you have denied and rejected the only Saviour there is, Jesus Christ

You go to a temporary abode, either heaven (good) or hell (not good, but not torture). God continues to work on people to get them to repent and be perfected, but reward seems to be already earned. Then at some point Jesus returns to earth. I'm unclear on the order of things (the Bible book Revelation can probably tell you a lot), but the dead will be judged, God will make a new heaven and earth, there will be the wedding of the Lamb (Christ) to his bride (the Bride of Christ), and those who won't repent will be annihilated (Revelation 20). Then life really begins, but is apparently unwritten.

those The Creator God finds worthy will be given immortal bodies and they will enter Heaven........ those found unworthy will be disposed of... they will cease to exist... that is the true death

Our body functions and processes stop, the cells in our body die, and our consciousness ends. It is complete oblivion, not being asleep. The brain tissue degrades and disintegrates, and all of our memories, experiences, thoughts, emotions, everything we are - is gone.
