Why does God want us to worship him forever and ever and ever?
First and foremost- no rudeness. I genuinely ask this question so rudeness is very unnecessary. God designed us to be under his authority forever and ever. Why? If God loves us and treasures us- why didn't he make us as Gods like him in the first place? Yes, he is my father and I love him, but his son Jesus himself said, "...you shall leave your mother AND FATHER..." why is it though that God, out father, says over and over, "I alone am worthy of such worship. Nobody is ever capable of becoming worthy of everlasting life." Why didn't Yahweh God make us as him- not as humans with flesh on earth- comparable to the animals. If God wants us to be free (I mean free free- as in doing things without consequence or rebuking, not the free god says we'll have in Revelations), why did he make us to be so small and weak compared to him? Why did he not want to make us as Gods to love him and to literally be next to him as a child and father? Why did God design angels to tend to his needs when he can easily help himself with his own mind?
Pls answer nicely not with meanness the only reason I asked YA is because no article ever answered such a question. This has been bothering me for months and it kills me- not that I'm this arrogant person but just because I, as an anarchist, hate the knowing of having this type dominance over people. I can't stand these unanswered questions and idk why God won't answer them and I feel like when he does it'll be too late. Much love, Matthew.

We worship God because he deserves it! A person who serves God with “a complete heart” deeply loves Jehovah and wants to worship him forever. In the Bible, the word “heart” usually refers to who we are on the inside. It includes the way we think, what we love, what we would like to do with our life, and why we do the things we do. Jehovah’s Witnesses are a global community of men and women of all ages and of every ethnic background. We worship the one true God, whose name is Jehovah, as revealed in the Bible. When we are faithful to Jehovah, we prove that we believe he has the right to rule over us and that he deserves our worship. (Revelation 4:11) Jehovah gives us his spirit to help us tell the good news to others and to give them comfort and hope. (Isaiah 61:1, 2) Our spiritual heritage will keep us strong and close to Jehovah so that we can serve him now and forever. www.jw.org

Draw Close to God
A Creator Worthy of Our Praise
Revelation 4:11
HAVE you ever wondered, ‘What is the meaning of life?’ Those who believe that life is the result of mindless evolution grope in vain for the answer. Not so those who accept the well-established truth that Jehovah God is the Source of life. (Psalm 36:9) They know that he had a purpose in creating us. That purpose is stated at Revelation 4:11. Let us see how those words, penned by the apostle John, explain why we are here.
John presents a heavenly chorus extolling God: “You are worthy, Jehovah, even our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created.” Jehovah alone is worthy, or deserving, of such homage. Why? Because he “created all things.” What, then, should his intelligent creatures be moved to do?
Jehovah is said to be worthy to “receive” glory, honor, and power. Without question, he is the most glorious, honorable, and powerful Personage in the universe. The majority of humankind, however, do not really recognize his Creatorship. Even so, there are those who clearly see God’s “invisible qualities” through the things he has made. (Romans 1:20) With appreciative hearts, they are moved to give Jehovah glory and honor. They proclaim to all who will hear the impressive evidence that Jehovah is the one who made all things wonderfully and that he is therefore deserving of our reverential respect.—Psalm 19:1, 2; 139:14.
How, though, does Jehovah receive power from his worshippers? Of course, no creature can confer power on the almighty Creator. (Isaiah 40:25, 26) Yet, being created in God’s image, we are endowed with a measure of God’s attributes, one of which is power. (Genesis 1:27) If we truly appreciate what our Creator has done for us, we will be moved to use our power and energy to honor and glorify him. Instead of expending our energy solely on advancing our own interests, we feel that Jehovah God is worthy of receiving all our power as we serve him.—Mark 12:30.
Why, then, are we here? The last part of Revelation 4:11 answers: “Because of your will they [all created things] existed and were created.” We did not will ourselves into existence. We exist because of God’s will. For this reason, life lived solely for self-interest is empty and meaningless. To find inner peace, joy, satisfaction, and fulfillment, we need to learn what God’s will is and then bring our life into harmony with it. Only then will we find the purpose of our creation and existence.—Psalm 40:8.

God did not create us simply to have dominance over us. Thinking about the context and why God made those statements in the Bible about "exacting exclusive devotion", it was because humans were creating their own false Gods out of wood, stone, and metal and worshiping them, knowing that God created all things and seeing evidence of his power. Think about how parents feel when they have children and they take care of all their needs until adulthood, then they grow up and treat their parents with disrespect and ignore their guidance. A parent would expect a child to always and forever show respect and love for them for 2 reasons. The parent loves the child, and the parent has done so much for the child to show that love. Really, God wants us to willingly worship him out of love, not in a forced way.
Why did God not create us as spirit creatures / gods? This goes back to the beginning of creation. Genesis 1:1 says "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth". For what? Genesis 1:28 says "Further, God blessed them, and God said to them: "Be fruitful and become many, fill the earth and subdue it"
So he created the earth just for us. He did not create us all to live in Heaven. He also created us to be able to leverage the earth to sustain our life and find joy from creation. We also have free will to either worship him or not.
He did not create us as Gods, but Genesis 1:28 says that he "went on to create the man in his image, in God s image he created him; male and female he created the." In other words, we are created to reflect the qualities of God.
So why worship him forever and ever? Out of appreciation for all he has done and continues to do to sustain our lives. Even though the world is out of control right now, we appreciate him for giving his son Jesus in our behalf to not only pay for our sins, but also to bring an end to wickedness and restore the earth as he purposed in the Genesis account. Psalms 37:11 & 29 speaks of the time when meek ones will live on the earth forever in paradise.

There may be a parallel between a god creating people to worahip him and teenage girls making babies to love them.

I share the thought of @. Snowbird. whose, it is useless that you place other biblical passages, since you put his thumb down?
God does not oblige anyone to love him, because he loved the world so much that he gave Jesus Christ, as his personal savior and Lord!
God created us according to his will, he is the Creator, in fact, we are in the image of God, and equal to the Deity of his Son, as a man, Jesus Christ! In essence we are similar to the Gods, but we have no power, because the Almighty is God!
So, your presumption falls, God has made us similar to him, in fact we humans were made of body and Soul, the body, as you said, is comparable to that of animals, but the soul of man is immortal, which animals do not have!
God created the Angels, they are Perfect, He always left them in the freedom to love Him, but there were Angels who did not want, so they were free of their decisions, and their decision was to become demons, for the perdition of hell!
God so loved the world that He gave His Son, in His own Deity, of the person of Jesus Christ, so that whoever believes in Him, has eternal life!
So, I find it illogical that you love a cat that wants to kill you? While you refuse to Love God, who loves you, and who wants to save you from eternal hell? Sigh!
Now go and rest, you woke up too early, and you didn't put your questions right in your mind?

God created us, so of course He has dominance over what He has created. There is no freedom in doing your own thing, and God hasn't made us weak. If we accept Christ as Saviour and obey His commands, God will give us His Holy Spirit for He gives His Spirit to those who obey Him (Acts 5:32). With the Holy Spirit living in us, we are far from weak. God has given us authority in the Name of Jesus, if we are HIS.
Anyway, the sort of questions you ask here such as - "What did He make us so small and weak compared to Him?" "Why did He not want to make us as gods to love Him and to literally be next to Him as a child and Father?" and "Why did God design angels to tend to is needs when He can easily help Himself with His own mind?" I can answer some of that but some of it you would have the ask the Creator Himself because His mind and reason for doing things is superior to ours, so we don't know why - ASK HIM.
However, when you say we are comparable to animals - that's not true. We are made in God's image and likeness. Animals are NOT. God is Spirit (John 4:24) and we are a spirit also inside our body.
So when you ask "Why does He not want to make us as gods to love Him and be with Him etc" or however it was you put it, HE HAS DONE THAT. That's exactly what God has done.
When animals die, they go down to the earth, whereas, when we die, our body goes into the grave waiting for the resurrection of the dead at the end of time, and our spirit leaves our body and returns to God who gave it" (Ecclesiastes 12:7)
So if we accept God as our heavenly Father in this age, and receive, follow and obey Jesus Christ the Saviour whilst we still live, we WILL go and spend ETERNITY WITH HIM, loving Him and literally next to Him and having all the benefits of Father and child, because when we receive Jesus Christ as Saviour, we become THE BODY OF CHRIST AND HE IS THE HEAD, so we are actually PART OF CHRIST - Ephesians puts it this way, "We are of His flesh and of His bones" but only if we are IN HIM and HE IS US.
God didn't make angels to do things for Him. God made ministering angels to minister to US - see you have it round the wrong way. You haven't read your Bible have you?
Read Hebrews 1:14 - "Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth TO MINISTER FOR THEM WHO SHALL BE HEIRS OF SALVATION?"
So before you get cross with God almighty, our Saviour, Turn to Christ, obey His commands in this life and you will be looked after in eternity by Your Heavenly Father who loves you and died on the Cross to save you from your sin

God requires us to love. Those who do not will suffer His conditions for that. I suggest that you be justified by Christ.
If He is God and created us with an absolute free will and not a conditions choice as christians say which the christian God is God and there is no one besides Him. Then why does that free will not come with a choice to be made like I never existed?
Oh yeah and God created everyone so He can have meaning in His life and thiers. Even though it costs the ones who do not love an eternity of everlasting punishment.

You're a Christian AND an anarchist? Now, there's an interesting combination... With the Christian god being basically THE very definition of a self-absorbed, despotic, tyrannical douchebag, that expects for people to kiss his @ss for all ETERNITY, or else get BURNED forever..? It feels like something has got to give, with this. Because people can only put up with such extreme amounts of cognitive dissonance for so long, right..?
Anyway... I'd recommend you to toss out the Christianity. But that's just me, though. I'm clearly biased with this. But I am speaking as a person who would NEVER worship that kind of god, even if it turned out to be perfectly real. I would be looking for the most ideal way to kill it, instead. Preferably by sending it to its own lousy hell.
