So I ordered color contacts from contactsdirect and just tried to order some from Walmart?

I ordered color led lenses from contactsdirect. And was successful. My prescription says lenses recommended but I still got the colored and their fine on my no problems.

I ordered from Walmart and they said I have to get what’s recommended. Why is it that my doctor told them that if I haven’t been there but my prescription still valid ?

- because the 2 companies go about things differently ?

- or contactsdirect really just asked was my prescription still valid ? And Walmart wanted to know my actual type and wouldn’t let me get anything else other than that ?

WalMart follows the laws of YOUR STATE. "Contacts direct" does not.

I am infinitely amused that you cannot afford to support your children, that you whine about the state of your finances - but order colored contacts.

What happened is that Walmart was following the law, but contactsdirect. didn't.

In the US you can only get what has been prescribed and the place selling the lenses , if they are in the US , have to either see the prescription or call your Dr. to verify that you are actually getting what was prescribed.

The eye Dr. can not prescribe a lens he hasn't seen on you.

Contactsdirect , by just taking your word for it broke the law. You don't have a valid prescription for coloured lenses. Your prescription is only valid for the brand that it states on the prescription.

They even say at their site that a valid prescription is required.
