I M CONFUSED! Reheating food (and rice) twice?

So much conflicting info online:

ie:

its safe to eat rice çold or hot the next day (if it was refrigerated quickly).

but its not ok to heat it twice.

if I refrigerate rice after cooking it,, and then heat it for breakfast,, and then put straight back in fridge and heat again for lunch.

the total time at room temperature was just about 30 mins.

Why all the fuss ?

I appreciate it takes maybe another 40 mins to cool down (in the fridge),

but this is isn t exactly far over the 2 hour limit.

    You can reheat it multiple times and it's still safe but as said, it may not taste as good.

    It's not so much a matter of safety as taste/mouthfeel. Each time you reheat the rice it dries out a bit more.
