Trump said he would cut the trade deficit, and winning trade wars is easy. Now it is way worse than ever. How come?

Because Trump doesn't understand international trade.

Things like trade wars are not so easily won when the other parties know that half the country are opposed to them, and they just need to hold out about four years for them to be over. Takes a huge pat of the incentive away.

It is not way worse. Anyone with half a brain knows there will be an adjustment period. China is not going to easily give up the decades of unfair trades agreement that made their government rich. Yet you would rather we continue to cater to them. We have to start somewhere at getting back more equitable agreements or we will be doomed. Why can’t you libs understand THAT?? Why are you so blind to reality?? Of course if we don’t get fair agreements then the socialist/communist regime of the democrat party will have a much easier time getting into power and “providing” for the general populace just like China does.

Friend I don't mean to kill anybody's puppy here that thinks they like Trump! Other than increasing employment in the United States and making the rich people richer. I can't see anything else beneficial that Donald Trump has done!
