Is it better to stay off of a bullies radar or stand up for yourself?

A weak person need to be toughen up can he/she build for this?

Stand up for yourself and show the bully who's the real boss...

Why not employ both tactics. No problem to stay off the radar, but very easy to go overboard and become a wimp. Try to stay off the radar, but if the bully targets you , switch gears and stand up for yourself at all costs. That means fight back even if you are scared, fight back even if you think you will lose. It's not a game, it's a lifestyle.

Standing up and NOT BACKING DOWN, is your best bet.

Just go crazy on them if they do anything to you yell so loud it burst their eardrum and start punching as hard and fast as you can without getting tired pick up a chair if you can and smash it on their heads as hard as you can do not let up, give him/her holy hell every time they do something trying to get to them even if the fight is broken up. Show them you will give them that every time and they will certainly leave you alone. If they say politely please pass me the salt yell WHAT! As loud as you can.

Bullies often have mental issues which as opposed to popular belief makes it impossible to reason with them. You can't think being their friend will change them. Their issues likely drop much deeper than that. Best to just not even waste your time with people like them. They don't care about anyone but themselves so why should anyone care about them? If they do cause you trouble you need to stand up for yourself. If they get even a slight whiff of the idea that you wont they will just continue to subject you to it. In some cases dealing with one bully leads you to facing 5 people at the end of the day though. This is just their mentality. They don't play fair. Bullies are just a burden society has to deal with. What doesn't help is how soft the system is on people like them now. Everyone pities trouble causers these days like its only them that has problems. The only difference between them and everyone else is that they were to weak to suck it up. This why they'd never deserve respect.

Stay off a bullies radar. Stand up for yourself if you can, but try to reason with them and use no violence if possible.
