Yes and it's more than ten years. I'm pushing sixty and I remember well when I was a kid in the '70s that (for example) young people respected older people. Now, it seems to be just the opposite.

Absolutely, yes. In general, teenagers are more self-centered and less considerate of others. This shows in how they interact with others and that includes the manners they show others.

Good Manners are Declining.and that orange thing in the WH not making it no better when it comes to bullying, and racism.. folks treat the dinner table pretty casually. Sometimes meals aren’t even eaten at the table, instead being devoured on the couch or even eaten on the run in order to get from one meeting to the next.Today just about anything goes, but back when table manners were in style, you had to keep dinner conversation very clean and polite. There’s nothing like a spicy dish to clear your sinuses, but back in the day it was rude to loudly blow your nose at the table, and you had to do it as discreetly as possible if at all.

Yes. I blame it on electronics. I call some business and they tell me how important my call is to them and how I might be recorded for quality control purposes. Then they have to go through all the numbers I could push. It sounds like a human, but it is just a machine. I ignore them and push the button I want or hang up in mid sentence. That is fairly rude, but the machine does not notice. I find myself developing the same attitude towards real people and treat them like machines. Not proud of myself.

Yes, I do, plus an increase in self-centeredness.
