Yes, they are way too dangerous and no one is actully protecting themselves like they think they are.

NO. It is unconstitutional, it would be impossible and costly to implement, it would turn millions Americans into criminals, and for the vast majority of Americans guns are safely used for protection and recreation.

I live in the UK and often people think guns are banned here but they are not, despite the handgun ban there are modifications that can be made to even make them legal, you'd be surprised at what is available compared to what people say. The restrictions have worked, some people still need guns like gamekeepers perhaps, some people use guns as a hobby but they are vetted first, or maybe they live in a remote place. I don't have a problem with that. Another myth is that you can't defend yourself with guns in the UK, you can, if you have a licence, people in remote places have shot burglars and were not charged.

Yes, although once they are banned from the general public, they don't really need to be available to security and law enforcement either. In the UK at one time, most police didn't carry guns and it wasn't a problem.
