A diaper that has been peed in will get bigger. Just like a sponge, it expands when it gets wet. Or if in doubt do a physical check too.

If you’re not sure buy pampers swaddlers with wetness indicator. It have a yellow line in the middle of the diaper and when wet the line turns blue. That’s the easy way to know for a new mom.

Diapers swell when they have been peed in. So if it is thicker than usual that means it has been peed in
