do girls usually ignore the guy they like?
I've been seeing this girl at my gym for about 4,5 month. She looked interested and caugh her looking from time to time then I decided to approach her. I waited for her to finish her workout and I kinda introduced my self and asked her about her workout. After that i tried to talk to her again but she avoid me and everytime we come across she tries to ignore. Now the other day she actually sat on the bench beside mine and she even looked at me but look away when I looked. Now I feel she is a little shy and she gets nervous around me. Now I really like her and wanted to ask her out but not sure how. Any suggestions

I understand the initially hesitation due to the fact she seemed a little cold and uninterested. But if she made and effort to sit next to you then she's warming up to you. So take the chance and start talking to her again, you might have to talk a little yourself, maybe about yourself some before she opens up.
Cause even if she doesnt talk much when you speak to her, if you've told a few things about yourself that she can take an interest in and/or just care about you then the next time you see her she'll probably ask you something about what you said previously. For example, if you're planing a trip somewhere then tell her what you have going on and what you're planning to do. That way she can follow up with you and inquire about what you said.
