What ever happened to Republican integrity?

I am a lifelong liberal Independent, and I would give my eye teeth for the Republican Party of the past. I rarely agreed with them on policy, but I at least had a sense that they wanted the best for this country, and had some semblance of a moral compass.

It was established in the 1950's that at least 95% of conservative voters are worse-off when there's a conservative government. That percentage has increased! The true consequences of holding Right-wing political views are far far worse than any of them will believe in this life.

Have we all become terrorists, making people afraid to say anything other than what we want to hear? We make others afraid of us, have we become apish thugs?

Donald Trump happened:

1) He is a lifetime criminal with a criminal record going back to 1973 with the government.

2) He was under federal indictment for FRAUD with the Trump university scandal while running for office.

3) He lied about his opponent and tried to take over the Presidential debates.

4) He constantly lies to the American people.

5) He attempts to discredit our free American Press and the First Amendment

6) He is a racist, a misogynist, an evil man. He makes fun of disabled or dead veterans and their sacrifices as well as disabled Americans.

7) He believes he is above the law.

8) He delights in spreading hatred and fear and when that doesn't work he intimidates and encourages others to break the law and promises to pardon them.

9) He insults our best and longest allies and sends love letters to the North Korean Dictator, Vladimir Putin and the Saudi Royals....all evil dictators who hate our American freedoms.

10) People who actually support this monster's bad behavior actually excuse, deny, rationalize and minimize his inappropriate and unAmerican actions.

However, take heart. Many of us have resisted Donald Trump from the time he took office and will still be active until we kick him out. such a man cannot and will not have the support of the people of America.

I love the line from "Josey Wales" --- Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining." ... That is exactly what "Trickel down economics" is. Republicans have NEVER had integrity. They created the great depression of the 1930s. Lets not even talk about "I am not a crook" Nixon. Then Reagan's trickle-down policy kept the recession going for at least 2 more years (he reversed it and increased taxes to end the recession). Then the crooked bankers in thru Bush2 got another recession for their "toxic" investments. So you tell me where the integrity ever was? The closest was DD Eisenhower and some of his policies were straight from Democrats. He got the Interstate highway system built .. a big works project which kept the economy going after WW2 and the Korean War. Sounds more like FDR than any republican.

They never had any. At least in my lifetime.

There's lots of it.

Parish? Whatever happened to separation of church and state?

I believe in respecting and being as decent to my opponents as Democrats are to theirs.

Democrats wont have to worry about integrity
