What was the world like before the birth of Jesus(son of God)?

It was all the same before, during and after. Nothing changed except the slow progress of time and technology.

Since Jesus never existed your question is meaningless.

A lot of otherwise VERY intelligent people were influenced by their family ad the culture they lived in, to believe things which, if examined critically, look rather silly.

For example There was the story of Polydeuces.

It tells of a human woman who gave birth to the son of a God.

Her name was Leda, and the God's name was Zeus.

Perseus was also the son of a God and a human woman.

There is a major religion, right today, with a similar belief: Its main figure is BELIEVED ( by many otherwise intelligent people) to be the son of a human woman and a God.

And the Believers in Polydeuces and/or Perseus and/or Jesus really dislike being reminded that there is no testable, repeatable, consistent evidence that the story of the origins of these thee persons are fact, and not legend.

World was is much darkness. I believe God even stopped communicating with His chosen people, Israel. After Jesus ascended to heaven, the Holy Spirit of God works through people bringing people into truth and helps people around the world to witness for Him. He brings people towards God. It is the grace of God.

Jesus is still alive. He rose from the dead on the third day. Then He went up into Heaven, but He will return someday to judge the world. Because Jesus died on the cross, we can be saved and forgiven and know God, and we can go and share the good news with the world, and love our neighbors as Jesus taught. www.peacewithgod.net

If there ever was a Jesus then the day before he was born the world was simply one day younger.
