Before Donald Trump, had any other presidents had whistleblower complaints against them?
I know it's been a long standing thing most likely - the laws surrounding whistleblowers. And I know we've had some unrelated to presidents. However, I'm wondering, in the case of specifically presidents.
Before Donald Trump, had the whistleblower complaint gone against any other president while in office? And if so, who and for what purpose?

Andrew Johnson, Richard Nixon, and Bill Clinton all were either impeached or came very close to it. In all cases, there was a whistle-blower who got the ball rolling. Clinton had a female in government encourage Monica to come forth with her embarrassing testimony. In Nixon's case, there was "deep throat," an insider who spilled the beans to the Washington Post reporters.

No, second and third hand complaints never met the whistleblower standard. The rules were recently ‘changed’ to accommodate this particular complaint.
