  • Troll much?. How is this not against rules here??

    Everyone should know this!.

NO you should not wash meat coz it is NOT  recommended to do so!! Bacteria in raw meat &  poultry juices can be spread to other foods, utensils, and surfaces. E.g. cross-contamination.

Absolutely YES, to remove something that's left on the skin and for you to eat clean

Yes ! In my opinion -- to wash OFF everything that should not be there … like other people handling it -- and anything else it picked up …. however, I am especially careful where I wash the chicken and the area I do it in .. after washing and handling the chicken I sanitize everything (including myself).

No, refer to the above answer.

No. Not recommended as it spreads more bacteria.

    Cooking it properly

Cleaning up the area after you have finished preparing the chicken

Using clean utensils once the chicken is cooked is enough.

nope.there is nothing on that chicken that needs removing.

NO. It is against Food safety regulation for Restaurants to wash chicken before they cook it because 50% of raw chicken is covered with the pathogen Campylobacter which causes serious food poisoning.

Washing it, spreads campylobacter all over the sink and other places where droplets and splashes are.

Campylobacter is fully killed when cooked.
