What? Haha no they do not. Some might u never know but MOST DO NOT!.
It is not recommended to do so. Bacteria in raw meat and poultry juices can be spread to other foods, utensils, and surfaces. E.g. cross-contamination.
Do u wash meat at home?? Nooooo probs not so why do u want chefs to do so..

No one knows but I will tell you first hand the people in grocery stores ( most of them don't wash even after using restroom..

I have no GOOD reason to suspect that they do
Does BUBBA WASH his HANDS before Eating
perhaps not so why is what he eats an issue
more interesting why would one wash it after cooking

Theres a general consensus that if you do it opens up the meat to bacteria, It washes away the 'natural' protective qualities.

No. Washing meat doesn't remove 'germs', only cooking kills germs. Washing meat only serves to increase the chance of spreading germ-laden juices around your food-prep area.
