No one is "attacking the US" that is just alarmist paranoia.  Furthermore only deniers would use the US as a scapegoat by claiming "The US is not doing anything so why would we?"  While emissions per capita in China are lower than in the US, every nation that pollutes is a "real polluter" and needs to clean up their own mess, including the US and China.

Simple solution is to put a price on carbon, so when Chinese goods are produced using fossil fuels and shipped to the US using fossil fuels put a price on the pollution.

How does one attack China if one is not Chinese? Firstly, Chinese citizens are not allowed to protest, and secondly if you wanna deal with China you put a carbon tax on their imports, which requires pressure on the American government
