Christians were really wise to allow wine and pork, isn't that right?

    Jewish people already allowed wine

    as did practically everyone else in the time of Jesus.

    Regarding pork: yes, that seems like it was a good idea in the long run.

    I am a Christian and I do not eat pork. It is prohibited in the Torah. We can drink wine and strong drink as long as we do not consume too much and become drunk.

    I'm not as much of a fan of pork as I am of alcohol. Too greasy for my taste.
