What scriptures teach that the Great Tribulation will be 7 years long?
I've had many tell me about the 7 years of the Great Tribulation, but they have never shown me the scriptures that teaches it.
My choice for Best answer doesn't really provide proof of the Great Tribulation lasting 7 years, but at least they provided scriptures that could be interpreted as a 7 year period.

Rev_11:2 But the court which is without the temple, cast out and measure it not: because it is given unto the Gentiles. And the holy city they shall tread under foot, *****two and forty months:*****
Rev_13:5 And there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies: and power was given to him to do, *****two and forty months.*****
(42 months X 2 = 84 months. 84 / 12 = 7 years.)
The last 42 months reveal the Antichrist, while and the final 6 months of that period contain all the major end time events, culminating in the return of Jesus Christ and the end of the age.

Scripture does not support "the Great Tribulation" idea, but rather teaches that those entering the Kingdom of God must suffer tribulation.
Those preaching "the Great Tribulation" are simply thinking to avoid tribulation, which tells you they are not entering the Kingdom of God.
Surely any who is entering the Kingdom of God would know this all too well?

Mark 13:19,20
Those days will be days of a tribulation such as has not occurred from the beginning of the creation which God created until that time, and will not occur again.
In fact, unless Jehovah had cut short the days, no flesh would be saved. But on account of the chosen ones whom he has chosen, he has cut short the days

Revelation speaks of two periods joined together, each 3 1/2 years long. Also Daniel speaks of a 7 year tribulation.

Daniels Peace treaty of many nations for 7 years.Daniels 70th week that period is broken up into 2 parts.3.5 years false peace and 3.5 years great tribulation. Not seven years tribulation but 3.5 years.Revelation teaches this too. This period is also called Jacobs trouble. So start in Daniel and then apply that to Revelation to understand that darkest of hours. JESUS BLESS YOU

There is no scripture to that effect. Jesus said to his disciples: “It does not belong to you to get knowledge of the times or seasons which the Father has placed in his own jurisdiction.” (Acts 1:7) And when giving “the sign of [his] presence and of the conclusion of the system of things,” Jesus noted: “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Matthew 24:3, 36) Then, after making a comparison between the destruction of the wicked world of mankind in Noah’s day and the destruction that would take place during “the presence of the Son of man,” Jesus stated: “Keep on the watch, therefore, because you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.”—Matthew 24:39, 42.

The Bible doesn't say how long the great tribulation will last.
It does say this that may encourage us....(Matthew 24:22) In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short.
The prophecy of Danial had nothing to do with the great tribulation.
It had to do with the coming Messiah.
Prophecy 3: “From the going forth of the word to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Leader, there will be seven weeks, also sixty-two weeks.”—Daniel 9:25.
Fulfillment: The period of time specified in Daniel’s prophecy amounts to 69 units of 7 years each, or 483 years. The rebuilding of Jerusalem began in 455 B.C.E. As prophesied, 483 years (69 weeks of years) later, in 29 C.E., Jesus became the Anointed One, or Messiah, when he was baptized and anointed with God’s holy spirit.—Luke 3:21, 22.
