My GPU is not giving me any video.?

My GPU is not giving any video. The monitor just goes to sleep mode.

Motherboard: Dell Optiplex 790 Motherboard

CPU: Intel?

GPU: AMD Radeon

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 250GB

My DVI cable is plugged in.

    Video boards are one of those things that fail in a PC.

    In my experience: they fail more frequently than any other component.

    It sounds like you need a new video board...but there are other possibilities (e.g. the monitor, the cable, etc.)

    try to remove the GPU card and connect the monitor to the motherboard instead see if you get any video then

    You need to update the drivers for your board and card dude
