If you are still living at home, not at all. If not, then it is too soon and a bit strange.

if it was the year 1950, no lol
but in 2019, no one really does that..
I read your other question.. you only know this guy from online. then by all means, PLEASE tell your parents and let them know what he looks like and give all of the information you have on him to them. and yes, let them meet him....

Since you live with your parents, I see nothing weird about it. If you lived with other roommates, there would be nothing weird about it either. You don't know this man very well and your family/friends have no contact numbers for him. It's good to introduce first dates to SOMEONE you know before you're out the door and onto an adventure with a new person in your life. If you are not introducing the guy to anyone you know, make sure you provide your own transportation and wallet and know where you're going. Either a people or a paper trail are normal when going out with someone you don't know very well. Just keep in mind he's a date, not a production or future husband.
It's not essential that grownups introduce their dates to their parents. But it is a good idea if someone you know has a clue what his name is, who he is, where he works, how you met him or SOMETHING just in case it doesn't go well.

Why ?! That would be a big turn off actually. What are you
12 years old ? It just doesn't make sense but hey you could invite him over for Thanksgiving and he can meet your parents then.

No that’s too fast . You need to get to know each other first so you create a strong bond .
