A math question! Please help!?
Two adults and three kids go to a restaurant. The first day, they spend $47.50. The 2nd day, they spend $72.50. Adults are charged differently than kids (kids are less). How much is an adult's meal and how much is a kid's meal at that restaurant?
I got $11.75 for adults and $7.92 for kids on the first day. $18.13 for adults and $12.08 for kids on the 2nd day. I don’t know if this is right. It would be much appreciated if someone could give me feedback. :)
I had this question on an Algebra 2 performance task and I want to know if I got it right.

If the problem is really "exactly" as your teacher gave it to you, then your teacher is a moron.

Not.enough.information.
2a +3k = $47.50
2a +3k = $72.50
Clearly something is different the second day. Did the adults have $25 in champagne?

I'm not sure that you've stated the problem correctly. It seems we are missing some information.
There is nothing in what you have provided that gives any reason it couldn't have been something like:
Day 1 - Adults = $23.72, Children = $0.02
2 * $23.72 + 3 * $0.02 = $47.50
I will say that your first set of numbers don't add up anyway, so they can't be correct.
2 * $11.75 + 3 * $7.92 = $47.26
As stated, there isn't any reason the prices would change from day 1 to day 2. Also, there is nothing that shows how children and adult prices are related except to say the children's pricing is less.
Do you have the full original wording of the question?
