Any way to avoid the egregious daily parking charges at Disney World in Orlando?

The daily charges are no more ridiculous than any mid range hotel fees.  If you stay on site, you still pay to park at the resort but not to park at any of the parks, plus you can use on site transportation ( bus, monorail, etc) to get around

Again, stay at a WDW resort. Please don't try to do Disney "on the cheap." Nothing wrong with being careful about spending but there's a point where the economy measures have diminished the pleasure of the experience so much, added so much inconvenience to the experience, that the economy isn't worthwhile. Seriously, if an extra $25 a day is a big deal, then defer the Disney trip until you've saved enough that an extra $25 here and there isn't a big deal. It's not a place for pinching pennies.

There is nowhere nearby where you can park for significantly less, and any cheaper spots are not going to be walking distance.  So you'd also incur the cost of transportation from there to the parks.

A #50 bus will take you to the Disney World Transportation and Ticket Center or a #302 will get you close to there. https://moovitapp.com/orlando_fl-1567/lines/50/247...

You can also take a taxi, Uber or Lyft.

Just Uber to Disney if you don’t want to pay the parking fees.

If you’re staying at a Disney hotel, there are shuttle services that’ll bring you from the hotel to the many theme parks.
