In Spanish, how are sentences formed (adjectives, nouns, and verbs)?

I have noticed that some adjectives come before the noun and some come after.

If I remember correctly (I might not)

typically in Spanish an adjective follows the noun it modifies

UNLESS you want to emphasize the adjective.
