I don't make my own clothes, I don't have the time, equipment, skills or stamina to do that. I do like to modify my clothes though, like ripping jeans or tie dying shirts. I made a pair of denim shorts with an old pair of jeans, and I painted a bumblebee on a back pocket. I tie dyed a plain shirt yellow and black and then painted the twenty one pilots logo on it. I make patches with old denim and fabric paint, and sew them on my jeans and bags. With my plain black jeans I add rips and holes with a pumice stone. I prefer to wear clothing that I have modified, although I often find Hot Topic clothes I like as is. My style is mostly emo; I'm always wearing a band shirt with skinny jeans or camo leggings.

When I was a teenager I made a couple of nice skirts and a bolero for home ec.  The first skirt I made had a floral print with an elastic waist and matching bolero top. The second skirt was a paisley print with a zipper and a sewing hook and eye closure.  Now I only do sewing repairs.

Yes I make my own clothes. I took a professional dressmaking and design program at community college long ago when schools offer the program. After that I could make anything and alter store clothes to fit. For years I would make simple everyday things like tee shirts, casual clothes, pajamas and ever summer a new summer dress.  When my boys were in high school and doing well I went back to school and took fashion design. Now I can design and sew almost anything. My style tends to be artsy and creative with a definite bohemian vibe. I often embellish store bought clothes with my own little touches so they fit me well and don't look like typical mall store stuff. This is a picture of the type of fabric store I shop at in the fabric district downtown Toronto. This is my favourite: Leo's.  they have every from inexpensive denim to 1500$ a meter sequined and jewelled brocade.

I used to but it is not easy to find nice fabric. I make easy jersey dresses and tule or cotton skirt. I use my existing clothes for measuring.

Since it became impossible to purchase pants and shorts that sit at the natural waist, that aren't ridiculously tight, I've brought out the sewing machine and started making my own. I don't have the skills to make anything fancy, but I can make pants and shorts with a drawstring waist and inset pockets.

No I don't make my own clothes because I don't work in a Chinese sweatshop!
