Treatment for ADD?

Hi

I have been struggling with ADD like symptoms for years. I have been to the doctors a number of times. My local GP keeps referring me to so called specialists who think I am just depressed.

But I know myself and I am not depressed. I have difficulty with brain fog and processing speed, worst of all is my concentration.

Seems like they will do anything to avoid prescribing me with the medication I need.

What should I do? I can't go on living like this!!

ADD is often caused by a bad diet. Like too much sugar, too much fast food, a lack of green leafy vegetables, eating canned food instead of fresh food, and eating junk food with a lot of additives, preservatives and food coloring in it -- things called excitotoxins. The poor diet makes your mind dull and unable to focus. The sugar can make you hyper active and scatterbrained. Just look at what happens to little kids when you feed them candy. So go to youtube and search for DR BERG ADD or ADHD or even DEPRESSION. Watch his videos. Apply his advice. His videos are short and informative. Take better care of yourself. The prescriptions that doctors dole out are not designed to cure what ails you, only "control" it. And keep you on medication until you die. So take control of your own health.

Guess what some of the symptoms of depression are?

Guess what some of the symptoms of other disorders are?

The specialists are not avoiding prescribing you the medication you need; they are avoiding giving you the medications you _want_.
