Should I go to the Carribean with my boyfriend? ?

I am a 19 year old female and my boyfriend is a 20 year old male. We have been dating for nine months. My boyfriend is a student pilot and works for an airplane; just recently, he invited to go to the Carribean with him and I would have just a couple of days to prepare for the trip. The flight for me would be free so the expenses would be affordable for me. 

Though I do really want to go, I have been having some reservations as this would be a really big trip for us as a couple. We have gone on two trips together so far, all within the U.S., but this would be our first time traveling out of the country. I have also heard that the Carribean is not the safest place. 

In three months, there is a 50 / 50 percent chance that my boyfriend is moving out of the area so going on this trip would bring me closer to him and make that potential heartbreak more daunting. 

Apart of me really wants to go and experience the world, especially at such a low cost, but apart of me believes this is too much too soon. Should I go on this trip?
