Should I go to the Caribbean with my boyfriend? ?
I am a 19 year old female and my boyfriend is a 20 year old male. We have been dating for nine months. My boyfriend is a student pilot and works for an airplane; just recently, he invited me
to go to the Carribean with him and I would have just a couple of days to prepare for the trip. The flight for me would be free so the expenses would be affordable for me. Though I do really want to go, I have been having some reservations as this would be a really big trip for us as a couple. We have gone on two trips together so far, all within the U.S., but this would be our first time traveling out of the country. I have also heard that the Carribean is not the safest place. In three months, there is a 50 / 50 percent chance that my boyfriend is moving out of the area so going on this trip would bring me closer to him and make that potential heartbreak more daunting. Apart of me really wants to go and experience the world, especially at such a low cost, but apart of me believes this is too much too soon. Should I go on this trip?

You’ve been dating for NINE months!!! 9 months! That’s almost a year. You’ve had sex, gone on smaller trips, and those went good.
It is NOT too soon to take an awesome Caribbean vacation, you’d be crazy to turn it down. In fact you sound crazy to even suggest that it’s “too soon”. Haha you sound like you’re in high school with the way you’re talking. I can just imagine saying something like that back in HS... but you’re older now, you need to mature your thinking some girl!
You’re like playing hard to get or you’re thinking “it’s a turn off if he shows interest in me” like wtf lol? Be glad he’s that so loaded and we’ll connected that he can get you hooked up with a Caribbean vacation. That’s GOOD, that’s HIGH VALUE, that’s ATTRACTIVE.
If it isn’t the above, then I think the real problem might be that either you are a feminist who severely distrusts men in general (maybe bad past experiences or just political propaganda you read online), OR, you just don’t have enough respect for your boyfriend in particular (not sure why, he sounds cool).
By the time I was dating my boyfriend for 9 months, we’d been to Puerto Rico, and learned scuba diving together, then we went to Cayman Islands a couple months after.
Now me and that boyfriend are happily MARRIED (he’s my husband! Yay!) and we have the most amazing time traveling! He owns a business, I help him with it and as make like $190,000 profit a year. We also have a puppy and baby on the way. (To be fair, we’ve been together about 3 and a half years in total now).
In all, we’ve traveled to Europe, Cayman Islands, Puerto Rico, Mexico, all across Europe, Florida, and New York.
This latest pic was me and hubby cave diving in Tulum! SO AWESOME!!! You would be ABSOLUTELY CRAZY not to go!
