The "last days" have been here for 2000 years now according to Christians. Preachers have been saying "This time it's real, the prophecies are all falling into place" for centuries.

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. Just reread the verse, men love themselves, disobedience to parents, unthankful life, no natural affection, lover of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godly devotion, but not doing it.

As we have seen, mankind is far off course, far from a peaceful world. In terms of sheer magnitude, the above conditions are unprecedented. Of course not. Modern critical scholars argue that 2 Timothy was not written by Paul but by an anonymous author, sometime between 90 and 140 AD. The "last days" would be obviously, then; unless of course, they're like 2000 years "late"... 😏
