If you want a healthy and happy 6-year-old then you also have to be healthy and happy. If that means moving back to your old country - then do it.

Despite the appearance of wealth in America, the quality-of-life stats place the US WELL below most other modern countries. Almost down with the undeveloped countries.

If you want to move to another country, you must have the mother's permission. She has the legal right to be able to spend time with her child.

Also very important is whether or not your home-country has universal health care (as most modern countries DO) .. the US does NOT, and health care is expensive. More than that, there are not nearly as many programs to work with handicapped people in the US as most other modern countries have.

So you need to compare the programs in your home country with the programs available in the US. If Trump gets re-elected in November, expect health programs to suffer even more.

If your own country is not better than the US, don't move back ... consider moving to a DECENT country where the government HELPS people take care of themselves: Denmark, Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Canada, Australia, etc.

Anywhere OTHER than the US. Besides, the US is a declining empire ... it no longer has a positive future.
