Black spot under skin?
So about a two weeks ago I was at the gym and went to lift something up and something pinched me on the finger. It was a little sharp but i didn't bleed or anything and it didn't hurt but i noticed a black spot on my finger. It looks like someone got a sharpie pen and dabbed a spot on my finger. At first i thought it was from the outside and i went to wash it off but nothing came off. I assumed maybe it was bleeding from under the skin but the spot has looked exactly the same for 2 weeks. It doesn't bother me or hurt or anything but i'm just curious as to what it is and when it will go away

It’s exactly what it looked like: a small cut which bled just under the skin.
The black spot is simply a blood clot which is now located within your skin, and as the dead cells on the outside of your skin shed themselves the clot will slowly be brought to the surface. When it does emerge, it’s not unusual for it to leak a small amount of dead black blood. Sometimes they open up and become like a normal cut and bleed a little red blood before continuing to heal like a normal cut.
As for the cut, it’s something which used to be called “a black man’s pinch”, but that term is no longer acceptable as it causes some people understandable offence. Some now call them “a dead man’s pinch” instead.
