I have cough and high temps. I travelled to Northern Italy there last week. I think I caught Corona virus thing while on the internet ?

I was chatting online to someone who had it. I think I caught it off the internet.  I am now in hiding cause I reads on the internet and that that they take you away if you have it. Is this true?

    you cant catch the virus by communicating with someone on the internet
