    There's no cure, but anti-virals might be of some use in terms of reducing symptoms and duration. They are probably trying them, at least, though I'm not sure which ones they've tried.

    Any over the counter medication that works with a specific symptom, sure--just like you could use cough syrup for any cough regardless of cause. But tamiflu? No, that is specific to the influenza virus.

    To relieve symptoms maybe, but not to cure. Follow the advice of your Health Care Provider / Service.
