No... bananas are high fructos (sugar) fruits so they have a lot of carbohydrates.

Yes! There is nothing wrong with bananas, they contain potassium and magnesium which are two essential nutrients that many people are deficient in! Yes, they have sugar, but even veggies have sugar!! People need to get over this obsession with not having any sugar whatsoever.

Yes. Just limit it to one banana a day ... don't eat more calories than you burn. Bananas are rather high in sugar, so they are not really a "diet food", but they are healthy so you can make room for them within your daily calorie count.

Bananas are generally healthy but like other fruits are high in sugar, you don;t want to eat enough that it takes you into a calorie excess for the day.

Yes. It's not really a matter of what you eat it's about how much of it you eat, your caloric intake. Calories are calories. If you are on let's say 1500 calorie-restricted diet you will not consume a lot of calories from eating a banana. At most a banana will take up 120 calories of your daily allotted calories but eating 5 of them will. You may also want to look into intermittent fasting which will give you a little more leeway in caloric intake, it works really well for weight loss.
